e-BAG Jazz
Recorder music play-along e-BAG Jazz is an opportunity to play in a swing feel and articulate a few simple eighth-note pairs in a swing style. Although the melody uses only the four letter names used in the title, the accompanying hand-orchestrated chord progression modelled after the 1930s Jazz standard "Moonglow" gives this piece a sophisticated sound that your students will enjoy. An optional countermelody can be used as an extension activity for stronger players or taught to the whole class. Classroom-ready videos include instructional components, recorder demonstrations, and play-along opportunities.
